Northeast Ohio Women Owning Woodlands Gathering

Are you a female landowner or a woman simply interested in forest stewardship? Are you a woman in a natural resource profession?

Join other women landowners at the first Northeast Ohio WOW (Women Owning Woodlands) Gathering at the Holden Arboretum in Lake County.

WHEN: Thursday, February 27 th , 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

WHERE: The Holden Arboretum, Corning Visitor Center. 9500 Sperry Road, Kirtland, OH 44094

WHAT: A casual gathering over hot drinks and snacks to meet, mingle and talk trees.

This first meeting is to share goals, ask questions, and explore what resources women like you would appreciate when it comes to making confident woodland stewardship decisions.

WHO: Come regardless of your level of management knowledge or expertise; whatever knowledge or experience everyone brings to the table is valuable. If you like trees, are concerned about the future of your woods, want to connect with other landowners, or just want a non-judgmental environment to ask the ‘stupid’ questions about land management, we’d love to connect!

Female forestry and natural resource professionals from Northeast Ohio will be in attendance as well. RSVP:

The program is free, but so that we can plan accordingly, please let us know if you plan on attending:
